Answer: Yes, but if you wish to extend any rental, you must contact a TRY 1 reservation agent at 416-840-0508. We will be happy to accommodate your request, if possible with no service fee charge. Please note all requests for rental extensions must be made within 24 hours of the return time to avoid late fees that will apply alongside your original rental rate. Also, if you choose not to return the car on or before your originally scheduled return date, we will place an additional hold on your deposit, debit or credit card to cover any additional expected rental charges. Upon your return of the car, the holds will be released, and the actual cost of the rental will be charged. Please note that your bank may take up to two weeks to post the released credit hold to your card or the processing time for your cash deposit may be extended. Unfortunately, also we cannot be held responsible for any returned checks due to debit card hold processing.
Why am I being charged fees and surcharges?
Answer: Most fees and surcharges are mandated for all rental car companies by the local municipality or provicial/federal authorities. However, unlike TRY1, some rental car companies do not disclose these surcharges when you reserve your car . We prefer that you are aware of all charges ahead of time – so when you pick up your car, you’ll have no surprises. If you have questions regarding any surcharges relating to your rental, please discuss the fees with a counter representative.
