Can I reserve a specific make or model car?
Answer:  Yes. Although our standard fleet isn’t 'reservable' by specific make and model, our fleet is. Book your choice of any of our fleet vehicles, and we’ll do our best to have that exact car waiting for you at the pick-up counter. And once you're behind the wheel of your favorite rental car, if you decide to keep your vehicle for a few more days, that's no problem at all. Since TRY 1 offers each customer this same flexibility, please understand that we can't guarantee that the specific make or model you choose will always be available – some of our renters undoubtedly will decide to keep their favorite car longer than they originally planned, which might overlap your rental request. But if we have the car of your choice when you arrive, you'll get it!

Express your unique style by arriving in a smooth-riding Volkswagon Beetle, Mitsubishi RVR, or one of our other distinctly different vehicles. Dream It. Reserve It. Drive it. With TRY 1's fleet - you choose!

Can someone else drive a car that I rent?
Answer:  Yes. An additional driver must be at least 23 years of age. TRY 1 will check the additional drivers' license to ensure that it is valid.  TRY 1 will be unable to approve an additional driver if the driving history reveals any of the following issues:

  1. invalid, suspended or revoked license
  2. one or more convictions for reckless driving within 36 months
  3. one DUI, DWI or DWAI conviction within 48 months
  4. failure to report an accident/leaving the scene of accident within 36 months
  5. possession of stolen vehicle or use of a vehicle in a crime
  6. three or more convictions for moving violations within 24 months (including seat belt violations)
  7. three or more accidents within 36 months
  8. other activities that suggest an unsatisfactory driving record determined by TRY 1 agents.

Add drivers to your rental at the counter when you pick up your car. Drivers must be present with their required credentials to be added.
